Semi-Automatic Precision Winding Machine for Lithium-ion Cylindrical Cells
1. Equipment Function Description:
This machine is primarily used for precision winding of cylindrical lithium-ion battery cells.
Working process: Manually feed cathode and anode sheets into the winding section, interleave with separator, wind as per process requirements, automatically apply termination tape, and automatically discharge the wound cell.

1. Single-needle through-shaft winding configuration.
2. Manual electrode feeding, with automatic winding, automatic needle replacement, automatic termination taping, and automatic discharging.
3. Lateral taping approach (termination tape perpendicular to tab); tape application is smooth and precise without over-tightening the cell; taping is reliable and stable.
4. Adjustable winding speed.
5. Two active separator rolls, featuring proximity switch-controlled tension technology for smooth automatic tension adjustment during winding; both upper and lower tensions are adjustable.
6. Separator with outer-wrap termination.
7. Wound cells are free from damage, core extraction issues, or misalignment.
8. User-friendly operation, with quick and easy specification adjustment.
3. Process Flow
This equipment complies with cylindrical lithium-ion battery winding standards: separator fully wraps the anode, and anode wraps the cathode.
Process steps:
1. Separator pre-winding: toothed blade technology reduces pre-wound separator length.
2. Feed anode: manually feed into the winding section.
3. Feed cathode: manually feed into the winding section.
4. Winding.
5. Position transfer.
6. Separator cutting, termination taping, and discharging.

4. Equipment Composition
1. The equipment includes a winding device, position shifting unit, separator unwinding unit, electrode guiding unit, taping unit, discharging unit, and control system.
2. Winding device (2 sets): single-head through-shaft structure ensures accuracy; easy needle replacement.
3. Position shifting unit (1 set): switches between winding and taping stations.
4. Separator unwinding unit (2 sets): active unwinding with pneumatic tension control.
5. Electrode guiding unit (2 sets): single-sided adjustment, easy to operate.
6. Taping and discharging unit (1 set).
