Rotary Vacuum Sealing Machine for Lithium-Ion Pouch Cells

I. Equipment Description

This equipment is applicable to the vacuum sealing process of lithium-ion pouch cells.
It features a rotary dual-fixture alternating structure. The two fixtures take turns to load and unload cells, alternately entering the vacuum sealing chamber, so that the clamping time does not affect the equipment's efficiency.
After placing the battery into the fixture on the rotary table, press the start button. The turntable rotates 180 degrees, and the battery enters the vacuum sealing zone. The vacuum chamber closes, and the vacuum pump starts running.
When the vacuum level inside the chamber reaches a preset low value, the piercing needle is activated to puncture the gas bag, thus preventing the interior of the battery from coming into contact with air.
Once the chamber achieves ultimate vacuum, the upper sealing bar carries out the sealing operation.
Press the start button again, and the turntable rotates 180 degrees: the sealed cell exits the vacuum zone, while the unsealed cell enters the sealing zone — and this cyclic operation continues.
