I. Equipment Technical Parameters:
This equipment is designed to carry out top sealing, side sealing, corner sealing, trimming, and short-circuit testing on pouch lithium-ion batteries.
External Dimensions (Length × Width × Height): 1800×1400×1800 mm.

This equipment is designed for top and side sealing of lithium-ion pouch cells. Its rotary table features four stations: loading, top sealing, side sealing, and automatic unloading, enabling it to automatically perform top sealing, side sealing, corner sealing, trimming, short-circuit insulation testing, and automatic unloading operations.
All parameters of the top and side sealing machine need to be set to the values specified by the process. When the equipment operates normally and the temperature reaches the preset value, check whether the sealing parameters conform to the set values. After confirmation, production can start normally. Operators manually place the cell with its casing into the fixture. Once hands are withdrawn from the area monitored by the fiber optic sensor, the equipment will automatically rotate the turntable, transporting the battery to the top sealing station. After the top sealing process is finished, the turntable moves the cell to the side sealing station. Upon completion of side sealing, the turntable transfers the cell to the transfer station, where a robotic arm picks it up and moves it to the corner sealing station. After corner sealing, the cell is transported to the trimming and inspection station for inspection and trimming. Once these steps are done, the robotic arm places the cell on the conveyor line, and the cell is conveyed out through the logistics line.
The robotic arm automatically unloads cells that pass the test onto the conveyor belt, while defective cells are placed into the NG collection box. (Loading, top sealing, side sealing, inspection, unloading, and other processes all run synchronously.) This cycle continues repeatedly.
The above operations can be performed in two modes: automatic and manual. The automatic mode can only be activated when the temperature of the sealing head (hot sealing head) reaches the designed value. If the temperature of the sealing head deviates from the set value by ±5°C, neither mode will allow any operations to proceed.
IV. Technical Parameters
1. Production Efficiency: ≥5 PPM (subject to actual production parameters)
2. Sealing Heads:
- Top Sealing Head Length: ≤200 mm
- Top Sealing Width: 2.5–5 mm (available for both soft and hard sealing)
- Side Sealing Head Length: ≤250 mm
- Side Sealing Width: 5 mm (can be customized per customer requirements)
- Top and bottom sealing heads feature independent temperature control.
- Heating rods: ¢9.8×210 mm, 600W, 4 rods in total, of the uniform heating wire type.
- Working Temperature Range of Sealing Heads: 20°C–220°C, with temperature control precision of ±3°C.
- Flatness of heating blocks after 10 minutes at 70°C: <0.01 mm
- Parallelism of Sealing Heads: ±0.01 mm
- Misalignment Precision of Top and Bottom Sealing Heads: <±0.1 mm
- Sealing Time: adjustable within 0–99 seconds, with precision of ±0.1 s
- Sealing Pressure: adjustable within 0–0.6 MPa, with precision of ±0.02 MPa
- Sealing Sequence: top sealing → side sealing → inspection → unloading
V.Process Performance
1. Top sealing (as specified by customer) and side sealing adopt hard sealing process.
2. Sealing heads and heating blocks are made of H62 brass.
3. Cell fixture is made of aluminum and fixed on the rotary table. The gap between the sealing head and fixture at each station shall be less than 0.1 mm.
4. Top sealing, side sealing, and corner sealing times are set via the touchscreen.
5. Top sealing, side sealing, and corner sealing all adopt pneumatic transmission. Sealing pressure is adjusted via the pressure regulating valves for top and side sealing on the control panel.
6. Sealing temperature is set via the temperature controller on the control panel.
7. Top and side sealing stations are equipped with fixture-in-place sensors. If no fixture is placed on the rotary table, the sealing heads will not operate.

9. Safety Features:
a. The equipment is enclosed with an aluminum alloy frame and transparent PCB panels. Control switches are installed on the enclosure doors. When a door is opened, the machine will automatically stop to prevent injury.
The operation station is equipped with a light curtain for protection.
