1. Equipment Description
This equipment is mainly applied to automatic top sealing (left and right), side heat sealing, edge trimming, flaring, and testing of pouch cell lithium-ion batteries, and is compatible with certain prismatic cells. It adopts a rotary dual-station operation mode.
The workflow is: loading → left top sealing → right top sealing → side sealing → edge trimming → testing → flaring → unloading.

6. Functional Description
- 6.1 Soft sealing process is applied to both top and bottom sealing.
- 6.2 Cell fixtures come with locating holes, which align with positioning pins on the rotary table to secure sealing precision.
- 6.3 Sealing time for top, bottom, and side sealing is adjustable via the touchscreen.
- 6.4 Pneumatic cylinders are used for all sealing operations; sealing pressure is modified through pressure regulating valves on the control panel.
- 6.5 Temperature is managed by temperature control modules or controllers.
- 6.6 The positioning fixture works on a one-out-one basis — one cell is placed each cycle.
- 6.7 SKD11 cutting blades are adopted at the edge trimming station, with a single sharpening life surpassing 300,000 cycles and over 10 resharpening opportunities.
- 6.8 Pneumatic cylinders with probes are utilized at the testing station for inspection.
- 6.9 The flaring station employs a vacuum suction cup in collaboration with flaring tools.
